The AEF is pleased to be able to offer the Wild Rose Competition designation, a new provincial competition program to help support and grow the grassroots level of competition. A Provincial Officials Program has also been developed, with the idea of creating a level of training and recognition for competition officials to support provincial level equine competition in Alberta. Throughout the creation process of these programs the AEF has listened to the wishes of Albertan competitors and show organizers. Costs have been kept to a minimum, both to competitors and show organizers, with the idea of re-introducing affordable equestrian sports. Provided below are some highlights and requirements of the program.
