We have done further investigation into the most recent reported case of EHV-1 in Saskatoon since our last conference call update was released. We have contacted and spoken with the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon and have found that there is one case of EHV-1 being investigated.

The horse in question has not been definitively confirmed as the neurological strain of EHV-1 but is being considered highly suspicious. The horse has been euthanized and a post-mortem has been completed. Results and further testing are pending at this time.

Currently, the information we are receiving states the horse involved had not been in contact with any of the horses present at the Ogden event. Therefore, we see no direct correlation between this suspected case and the initial Ogden outbreak. We will continue to update our information on a regular basis, and we thank everyone for bringing any concerns to our attention.
