Equestrian Trails and Campgrounds
We often receive calls from horse owners looking for places to trail ride in Alberta. If you are looking for places to ride, here are some suggested equestrian staging areas.
Several Provincial Parks and recreation areas provide equestrian facilities and allow overnight camping. These equestrian staging areas usually provide loading/unloading ramps and hitching rails, and some also provide corrals, vault toilets, bear proof garbage containers, picnic tables, water wells, fire rings and firewood.
