HELP US CARE FOR ALBERTA’S HERD THIS WINTER.

Alberta’s Equine Community
It is estimated that Alberta is home to more than 320,000 horses, approximately 33% of the total horse population in Canada. There is not an industry more diverse than the equine industry, which includes, but is not limited to, racing, sport, ranching, breeding, boarding, pleasure, recreation, and companion animals.
With 18,000+ members, in over 435 communities and covering a wide variety of interests, disciplines, industry partners, breeds, health and welfare of equines; we are committed to the entire Alberta Equine Community – humans and herd – whether members or not.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alberta Equestrian Federation, along with leading industry partners, launched “Alberta Equine Partners for the Herd”, to support the equine community in Alberta during these difficult and uncertain times to come. We care wholeheartedly about Alberta’s horses and are concerned about the risk to their well-being because of financial difficulties brought on by the pandemic.
