We, the Alberta Equestrian Federation (AEF), are proud to award the October 2018 Canter Away Current incentive to Danielle Gallant!

Danielle is an Equestrian Canada Certified Instructor with her Jump designation, as well as an evaluator (Level 1-4) for the EC Learn to Ride Program. Presently, she is teaching in Sherwood Park, AB at Sandridge Stables. She has 20 years of experience riding/training horses, 10,000+ coaching hours and an excellent safety record. She was also honoured to receive an Equestrian Canada National Coaching Award for all of her hard work and dedication.

“It is very important to me that I keep my certification current because it makes it easy for new students to contact me through the AEF website. My present students also feel confident that I am providing a structured program, a safe learning environment and up-to-date lessons. Thank you [AEF] for recognizing current instructors.”

AEF established the “Canter Away Current” incentive in 2016 in an effort to encourage EC/NCCP instructors/coaches in Alberta to keep current with their credentials by maintaining their first aid, background checks, memberships, and professional development. This incentive allows for a quarterly draw rewarding an EC/NCCP instructor/coach with a $200 Greenhawk Giftcard.
