Event Description: This event is for those individuals wishing to test for their Instructor or Competition Coach certification in the English disciplines. Note: This is a private event for registrants only. Spectators/auditing is strictly prohibited.

Registration Deadline: The registration deadline is December 21, 2018. Registration with full payment, and submission of lesson plans and emergency action plans are required by this date. All other prerequisites (first aid, background checks, rider levels etc) must be submitted no later than January 11, 2019.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Lesson plans/EAP’s submitted late (after the registration deadline noted above) will be subject to LATE marking fee of an additional $100+GST. Lesson plans/EAP’s submitted in improper formatting will be returned to the candidate for re-submission and will be subject to the LATE marking fee as well. 

Note: Lesson plans MUST be submitted on a topic of the designated topic list for that level of certification. Candidates may choose their own topics from this list. Lesson Plans/EAP’s should be submitted on single-spaced typed paper in Arial or Calibri fonts in size 12, and may NOT be 2 sided sheets of paper. If being submitted electronically, they should be submitted in Microsoft Word, or PDF format ONLY. They should be submitted together as one single document and not in multiple pages/attachments and should be titled by First&LastName-Discipline-Level-Topic (ie. TrainerBob-English-InstructorMounted-LessonPlan). The templates provided for lesson plans/EAP’s are meant to be used as a guideline. Candidates are welcome to use the template itself or they may wish to use certain elements of it, and add their own detail.
