The AEF is seeking candidates to serve on its Board of Directors to support the objectives, goals and activities of the organization.

The AEF Board reflects a diversity of experience, skills, knowledge and abilities suited to the strategic needs of the organization.

Individuals are not specifically required to have a high level of experience or knowledge within the equine sector.

Individuals from a range of backgrounds and professional sectors are extremely valuable to the board.

The AGM is an opportunity for members and stakeholders to come together once a year as we share highlights of the past year, the annual report, financials and meet the board and staff.

This year’s AGM will be held via zoom on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 6:30 pm. An email invitation will be sent to all members and registration is required.

WILD ROSE HORSE SHOW SANCTIONING PROVIDES LOCAL COMPETITORS A BASIC LEVEL TO EXPERIENCE SHOWING

It is also a stepping stone for athletes who want to progress into the national competition program without added expenses or requirements.

In addition to the numerous benefits of running a show through the Wild Rose Competition Program, AEF has bonus sanctioning incentives.

Event Calendar promotion: Competitions are added to our Events Calendar.

Volunteer Recognition Program: AEF recognizes one outstanding volunteer from each show with a $50 gift card. In 2021, AEF awarded $850 worth of gift cards to valued horse show volunteers.

Win Your Entry: A competitor from each show will win back up to $100 of their entry fees. In 2021 AEF gave over $1600.

Pay it Back – Wild Rose Officials Funding: AEF provides support by subsidizing official’s fees associated with competition. Last year AEF gave back over $11,000 to show organizations across Alberta!
